An Ekster tracker could spare you some of that panic by helping you locate misplaced belongings through your phone. From slim wallet cards to tags for everyday essentials, Ekster offers several ways to keep track of your things.

It’s the smallest things that sometimes give the biggest headaches.  But a little extra peace of mind can be a surprisingly useful thing, especially when your essentials seem to have a way of disappearing at inconvenient times.

4 Ekster Tracker Options Worth Considering Before You Lose Something Important

Ekster’s tracking accessories work with Apple’s Find My or Google’s Find Hub networks and don’t carry ongoing subscription fees. It includes a wallet tracker the size of a credit card and tags for other belongings.

Before ordering, check compatibility and charging requirements, as these vary between models. Ekster advertises free shipping on qualifying orders and a 100-day return window, although handling fees and product-condition requirements may apply.

The company also points to its B Corp certification, use of recycled materials and warranty benefits, including lifetime coverage for eligible Ekster+ members.

Tracker Tag

Keys have a talent for disappearing just when you're running late. The Ekster Tracker Tag offers a practical way to locate them, along with bags, luggage, and other belongings. This compact device connects to Apple Find My or Google's Find Hub without subscription fees.

Its 95-decibel ringer can be heard up to 300 feet away on Bluetooth, and location updates assist you in finding where your stuff was last seen. Among tracker tags for wallet accessories and everyday gear, its compatibility with both phone ecosystems adds flexibility.

Tracker Card

A bulky tracking device can make an already crowded wallet uncomfortable to carry. This credit card-sized tracker fits into a standard card slot and connects to Apple Find My or Google's Find Hub. You can activate its 95 dB ringer within 300 feet, check its last detected location, or receive separation alerts through the supported network.

If you already use magnetic phone accessories, Ekster’s Tracker Card for MagSafe is another easy way to keep track of your stuff. The device is made of aluminum and tempered glass and measures only 0.11 inches in thickness with IPX5 water resistance against splashes. Apple users can activate Siri, check last-known locations, and receive separation alerts. An Android version is also available, so choosing the correct model matters before ordering.

FAQs

Does an Ekster tracker use GPS to show its location?

Ekster's trackers rely on Bluetooth and Apple's Find My or Google's Find Hub networks rather than built-in GPS. Nearby compatible devices help update a tracker's location, which you can then view on a map. If you're searching for a gps tag wallet, remember that location updates depend on network coverage and nearby participating devices, so they may not appear immediately.

How long do Ekster tracker batteries last?

Battery life varies by usage, configuration and other factors. The Tracker Tag has a replaceable battery that lasts up to 10 months, and the regular Tracker Card lasts up to 10 months on wireless charging. The MagSafe version lasts up to five months per charge.  Actual performance can vary with use and sufficient battery power is important for reliable tracking.

Does Ekster charge monthly fees for tracking?

No. Ekster's current tracking accessories use Apple Find My or Google's Find Hub without a monthly subscription. You pay for the device itself, although replacement batteries or compatible charging accessories may involve additional costs. Ekster+ is a separate membership offering additional benefits rather than a requirement for basic tracking.

Losing something important rarely happens at a convenient moment. A tracker can make everyday life easier, but its usefulness depends on more than the features advertised.

Check compatibility, test the location alerts, and make sure the battery remains charged before relying on it during travel. With Ekster, choosing a device that suits your existing phone and accessories is particularly important.
